Sculpting Wool is the result of a collaborative effort by students from both Oslo National Acedemy of the Arts and Kristiania/Westerdals. The project is an exploration of mediative practises in the field of fashion. Through a series of photos and a film that portrays fashion designer Nora Granhaug Jones’ process we seek to represent the very core of fashion design, that is the craft, our hands, the tools and the materials we use. The work opposes what can be percieved as a prevailing product focus in the usual conception of fashion, thus creating a greater appreciation for the material.

Initally created as a school project and later realized as a larger collaborative exhibition.

I'm Theodor (22), a graphic designer and occasional photographer currently undergoing studies at Kristiania/Westerdals. My interest centers around brand identities, books, editorial design, and more recently type design. Though I’am constantly searching for new challenges, methods and contexts to fuel my work. An admirer of the craft and a believer that great ideas come to life through collaboration and meticulous craftsmanship.
